Watercolor Paper
I was inspired by instructional YouTube videos made by fabulous watercolorist and adventurous jewelry maker Ross Barbera to experiment with making jewelry using watercolor paper. I fell in love with the meticulous multi-step process. I either paint watercolor abstracts or create original digital designs that I turn into stand-alone feather-light earrings, pendant necklaces and cuffs and seal the pieces with water-based polymer or resin.
I also use my watercolor artwork with precious metal-plated pewter bracelets, pendants and earrings and use UV resin to seal the pieces making them durable and waterproof. My handpainted watercolor paper jewelry is one-of-a-kind and the digital art collection can be replicated and is made-to-order.
